Licensed & Insured
Licensed
OK, we’re not talking driver’s license here. Make sure no one pulls that on you when you ask if they are licensed.
In general, stump grinding services are not licensed through the State of Florida, but require a business license through the county. We are licensed through Orange County, and that is recognized in all counties in Florida, with the exception of Dade.
This is just another step that a legitimate business must take in order to comply with regulations. Many tree and landscape contractors insist that their sub-contractors are licensed, and you should too.
Here’s our current license that you can download for your records.
Insured
As a homeowner or business owner, you’ve worked hard for everything you have. Don’t risk losing everything because someone, who looked nice, came onto your property to do dangerous work and was then injured. Protect yourself by hiring insured professionals to do work on your property.
Ask for proof that they have the right insurance. Did you know that some people will claim they are insured, but they really only have auto insurance? How will that protect you? It won’t. Make sure they have Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and ask if they carry General Liability Insurance too.
It costs us a little more to carry proper insurance to protect us, our workers, and our customers. This is just a part of business, and it’s another example of how we come prepared to do a great job. We rely on our efficiencies to keep our prices very competitive and therefore we don’t have to cut corners.
Proudly serving Central Florida since 1993. We have the experience and the equipment to handle backyard and large stumps. In fact, over 70 tree specialists, and 300 landscapers, rely on our expertise to take care of their own customers.
You can rely on us too. Call (407) 628-1625.
